80s Time Warp

80sTW was saddened to hear of the death of Alvin Stardust on Thursday 23rd after a prolonged battle with pancreatic cancer. Aged 73, he was on the verge of releasing his first album in 30 years. I’m a bit too young to remember his ’70s Glam period but I do recall hearing his No. 4 hit “Pretend” on the radio many times in 1981. And here it is for your viewing pleasure:
